Studio Showcase: Lynda

Our latest Studio Showcase winner is Lynda! When Lynda’s husband retired, he gifted her the ultimate present: his former office. With its unique shape and natural light, it was the perfect canvas for her long-awaited dream craft room. Turning this space into a functional, inspiring studio was no small feat, but Lynda used smart storage solutions and her creativity to bring it to life.

Corners and Colors

Lynda’s new room wasn’t a typical square or rectangle—it came with a triangular bump-out, a diagonal wall, and French doors that made arranging furniture tricky. Still, Lynda started with a clean slate: she emptied the room completely, then let the light gray walls, white trim, and darker gray flooring set the tone.

She chose all white cabinetry so her supplies would stand out and bring the space to life. Her vision was clear: she wanted an organized, inspiring studio with space to craft with her best friend and daughter—and even host one-on-one classes.

Organization Tip from Lynda:
“I donated what I didn’t need, then sorted the rest into categories like embellishments, adhesives, Cricut supplies, sewing, and unfinished projects.”

Discovering Stamp-n-Storage

While researching ideas online, Lynda discovered fellow crafters using Stamp-n-Storage solutions. She loved that the products were open and visible, keeping supplies organized while still inspiring creativity.

Today, her studio features:

Favorite Product:
“The Stamp Case Towers. They really make it easy to find what I’m looking for.”

A Place for Every Craft

Every corner of the room has a purpose:

  • A sewing corner with a roll-out table that pairs perfectly with her main workbench
  • An angled die-cutting station with a supply cart and extra plates
  • Cabinets tucked into short walls for unfinished projects and needlework supplies
  • A Cricut zone stocked for paper and sublimation projects she donates, sells, or gifts

Creativity With Purpose

Beyond organization, this studio has become a sanctuary. Balancing a stressful job and caring for her husband, Lynda finds peace in her craft room.

She creates and donates nearly 200 greeting cards each year to senior centers and other organizations, finding both calm and purpose in serving others through creativity.

What Crafting Means to Me:
“Crafting is my way of serving others, which allows me to de-stress by doing something I love for people I love.”

Unleash Your Creativity

Lynda’s dream craft room is more than just storage and furniture—it’s a space that brings joy, inspires creativity, and turns giving into an art form.
