The center-of-the-room hub you've been wanting — pre-configured to spare you the planning. Pick one of three column types for each of the four columns, and we'll build out the rest. Counter height, locking casters, and a generous 29-1/2"× 47-1/2" worksurface included.

The planning is already done.

Skip the part-by-part selection. Each column comes pre-built with a balanced mix of drawers, paper shelves, or adjustable shelves — you just pick which type goes where. Three options, four columns, endless combinations.

A workspace for two.

The 29-1/2"× 47-1/2" top is roomy enough for two crafters to spread out side by side — perfect for shared sessions with a friend, daughter, or grandchild. Sturdy enough to hold die cutters, presses, and project mats.

Rolls where you work.

Locking casters on every island let you reposition for natural light, share the worksurface with a friend, or tuck it against a wall when not in use. Lock the wheels in place when you've found the perfect spot.

A note on white laminate: Our white tabletops use a solid, un-patterned laminate. Without any grain or print to hide behind, you may spot tiny variations in the surface. It's a normal characteristic of the material, not a defect, and it won't affect how your tabletop wears or performs.

Common questions.

How is this different from the Customize Craft Island?

Same island, different starting point. This kit includes the island plus pre-built drawer or shelf configurations for each column — pick one of three options. The Customize Craft Island sells the island alone and lets you select every drawer and shelf individually. Choose the kit if you want a balanced, ready-to-go setup. Choose Customize if you want full control.

Why is the Drawer option 14 drawers but the column is 24 slots?

Drawers take up different amounts of vertical space — singles are 1 slot, doubles are 2, triples are 3. The drawer option includes 6 singles (6 slots) + 6 doubles (12 slots) + 2 triples (6 slots) = 24 slots, filling the column exactly.

Will 12×12 scrapbook paper fit in a drawer?

No — drawers taper slightly which makes them too tight for 12" paper. For paper storage, choose the Paper Storage column option, which gives you 23 slanted shelves designed specifically for 12×12 access.

Can I change my column choices later?

Yes — drawers and shelves slide right out and back in. You can buy individual drawers, paper shelves, or adjustable shelves anytime to swap things around as your craft evolves.

How long does assembly take?

Most customers complete the island in about 60-90 minutes with a screwdriver. All hardware is included and holes are pre-drilled. Two pairs of hands make it faster — having a friend help with the larger panels speeds things up. View assembly instructions →

Craft island

On the positive side I love the size of the island, the fact that it’s on casters, and that when ordering one can individualize the organization - ie, drawers, shelves, etc. .Another plus is that it was fairly easy to put together. And it really adds another layer of organization. A couple of negatives are , unfortunately the top of mine arrived with cosmetic damage. Customer service was wonderful when I contacted them about the issue and promptly sent a replacement. Bigger unfortunate issue was it also arrived with scratches on it. Because it was cosmetic I opted to not contact customer service again but it was disappointing. Additional disappointment is that the product the top of the counter is made from does soil/stain quite easily.

Counter Height Craft Island

Omg made well, sturdy and fabulous. I want to offer suggestion for those considering buying~ do it! Buy it but when it comes to configuring your sections I would suggest 1” or 2” drawers for paper as opposed to paper slats. Drawers make the paper more accessible. The slats don’t pull out, they lift. LOVE my craft room that is filled with stamp storage items!!!!!
